ILLIT's Moka Halts Activities Again One Month After Return... "Excessive Tension and Anxiety Symptoms"

[Sportschosun Kim Jun-seok] Moka, a member of the group ILLIT, will suspend activities again for health reasons.

On the 19th, her agency Belift Lab announced the news through the group's official fan community.

Belift Lab said, "Since the preparation process for the fourth mini album comeback, Moka has been undergoing treatment and recovery due to excessive tension and anxiety symptoms." It added, "With the artist's strong desire to meet fans, she took part in part of last week's music show promotions, but after careful discussions with the artist and the other members, we concluded that she needs a more stable rest to recover fully."

The agency added, "As a result, Moka has decided to suspend all activities for the time being and focus on recovering her health."

ILLIT will continue activities as a four-member group for now, with Yuna, Minju, Wonhee, and Iroha.

The agency said, "We will spare no support needed for Moka's recovery and stability so that she can regain her health and stand before fans again." It also asked for "fans' warm support and consideration."

Earlier, Moka had already paused activities once in April ahead of the group's fourth mini album comeback due to health issues.

She later returned to the stage on KBS2's "Music Bank" on the 29th of last month, but has now taken another break to ensure a full recovery.

Meanwhile, since their debut last year, ILLIT has been enjoying global popularity with hit songs including "Magnetic," and continues to remain active.
