[Sportschosun Reporter Kim Soo-hyun] Park Jung-soo directly addressed online rumors about herself in a YouTube video featuring her family.

On the 4th, the YouTube channel "You Can't Stop Park Jung-soo Anyway" featured Park Jung-soo appearing with her two granddaughters as they looked into various internet rumors and entries on Namuwiki related to her.

During the video, her older granddaughter brought up the "reading Namuwiki" content that had become a topic of conversation among subscribers and suggested they try it together.

One entry said that Park Jung-soo began dating after the directing partnership between writer Kim Soo-hyun and PD Jeong Eung-young in 2001, and that when she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2007 and tried to break up, Jeong Eung-young confessed, "I will take care of you until I die." Park Jung-soo immediately frowned and strongly denied it, saying, "That's a lie."

Park Jung-soo said, "It's a lie. What do you mean, take care of me until I die? Where did this come from? Someone wrote a novel," expressing disbelief.

Another Namuwiki entry then claimed that, as a gesture of gratitude to PD Jeong Eung-young for taking care of her, Park Jung-soo gave him the entire fifth floor of a building in Gangnam Rodeo Street as a workspace.

Park Jung-soo laughed off the claim, saying, "Stories like this come out because I stay quiet," but she did acknowledge part of it, adding, "It is true that Grandma built an office so Grandpa could work hard."

When her older granddaughter asked, "Did Grandpa work hard?" Park Jung-soo smiled and replied, "At first, he started out trying to work hard. He did start that way."

Meanwhile, Park Jung-soo debuted in 1972 as part of the fifth class of open-recruitment actors at Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). She married a businessman in 1975 and had two children, but later divorced by mutual consent. Since 2009, she has been in a common-law relationship with PD Jeong Eung-young, the father of actor Jung Kyung-ho.
