[Sportschosun, Reporter Kim Soo-hyun] Choi Jun-hee, the daughter of the late actress Choi Jin-sil, has started a new diet to prevent rebound weight gain after losing 55 kg.
On the 24th, Choi Jun-hee shared clips of her happy eating spree from her honeymoon in Los Angeles, United States, saying, "After the wedding ended well, I went on my honeymoon. I felt so free that I ate like a crazy person, as if I had lost my mind because I no longer had to wear a dress."
She lamented, "Why does the United States have so many delicious things? I had managed to stay in the 40-kilogram range all last year, too! My stomach feels like it's about to split open..."
Choi Jun-hee, who works as an influencer and model, previously drew attention for reducing her weight from as much as 96 kg during her lupus treatment to 41 kg.
She confessed that after the wedding, she had let her diet slip, but said, "People around me were subtly hoping I would rebound again. So I snapped out of it right away and started managing myself strictly."
She then explained the main reason she resumed dieting, saying, "I just don't have the confidence to spend this summer looking overweight..."
Choi Jun-hee said she felt pleased seeing the many articles about her body transformation, adding, "Apparently, what I recovered this time was legendary, because articles were pouring out everywhere."
She also said, "Some people may look at my before photo and wonder what was even fat about it... But I'm seriously obsessed with my looks, so I can't accept that! Someone please stop me! (I'm kidding. It's just my own will. I don't have an eating disorder; I just like becoming prettier.)"
She added again to prevent any misunderstanding, saying, "I don't have anorexia. I'm just someone who likes becoming prettier. That's why my hobby is managing myself so I don't have time to rebound."
Meanwhile, Choi Jun-hee married a non-celebrity 11 years her senior at a hotel in Gangnam District, Seoul, on the 16th of last month. Broadcaster Jo Se-ho served as the emcee at the ceremony, drawing attention.
Hong Jin-kyung, Lee So-ra, Um Jeong-hwa, and Lee Young-ja, who all shared a close bond with Choi Jin-sil during her lifetime, also attended as guests and congratulated her on her new beginning.
