[Sportschosun Kim Soo-hyun] Publisher editor Kim Min-kyung revealed that she comes from a family with an elite academic background.
The MBC variety show "Radio Star," which aired on the 24th, featured a special episode titled "Everyone Is Fighting for Their Own Convictions," with Lee Ji-young, Kim Dae-ho, Kyung Soo-jin, and Kim Min-kyung appearing on the show.
Kim Min-kyung, who described herself as a "non-mainstream person with convictions," said she has been consuming all kinds of content in an effort to become part of the mainstream.
Kim said, "I had a lot of time. I lived as unemployed for six years. There is an expression, 'People who stumble while looking at the stars.' During my six years of job hunting, I watched a lot of content."
Kim Min-kyung said she landed a job thanks to her "mom's real son," adding, "My brother had already established himself in the family first, so he shielded me from a lot of nagging."
She said, "The only thing I have to brag about is my brother. He graduated from the College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University, then completed law school and is now working as a lawyer at Kim & Chang."
Proud of his impressive credentials, Kim Min-kyung boasted about her brother, saying, "I heard only four or five pharmacist-lawyers appear each year."
She went on to say, "Because my brother was doing so well, my parents were generous even when I prepared for jobs for more than six years."
Now that she has become well known, Kim Min-kyung said she can finally hold her head high. "I may not have studied as hard as my brother, but I graduated from Korea University," she said.
Kim Gu-ra then became curious about her parents' jobs as well. Kim Min-kyung said, "My parents retired after working as civil servants," and Kim Gu-ra drew laughter by praising her, saying, "Your family smells like books."
