[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Actress Seo Yoo-jung expressed regret over Songdo International City, which she left after getting divorced.

Seo Yoo-jung shared her own story with Hyun Young, who lives in Incheon Songdo International City for her children's education. Seo Yoo-jung had previously lived in Songdo International City during her marriage and said, "It was a good place to live, but it was emotionally painful for me. My daughter was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, and after we moved there, I had no friends or acquaintances." She added, "We separated when my daughter was eight or nine months old. I was in so much pain because I had so much resentment toward my ex-husband." She had spoken before about the painful memories she associates with Songdo International City.
That day, Seo Yoo-jung also said, "I lived in Songdo International City for about three years. Back then, I wanted to get out of Songdo, but after I left and my daughter became an elementary school student, I realized Songdo is such a great place to raise a child. Just as Apgujeong has many plastic surgery clinics, Songdo has everything for children and their culture."
Seo Yoo-jung said, "People tell me that if I had lived in Songdo, I would have sent my child to an international school and five or six academies. They ask me a lot, like, 'How do celebrity mothers take care of their children?' and 'Which academies do they attend?' At the time, I left because I felt trapped and in pain, but I wish I had endured that period, even if it was painful, until my daughter became an elementary school student. I think mothers always carry that sense of guilt and regret. Even if I had the chance to go back to Songdo, it would not be the same pain and suffering I felt then." In response, Hyun Young casually said, "Then come to Songdo and hang out with me. You're welcome."
