[Sportschosun] Reporter Jo Min-jeong] Actress Kim Sung-eun showed her dependable side by attending her daughter's sports day in place of her husband, Jung Jo-guk, who could not be there.
On the 26th, Kim Sung-eun shared several photos on her social media account along with the message, "I did my best for Yoon Ha, who was sad that dad couldn't come!!" and "Guess I need to practice hula hooping more," adding, "Watching the children being happy was a time that made both moms and dads very happy."
The released photos showed Kim Sung-eun attending the school sports day with her daughter, Yoon Ha. Standing with her daughter in front of a banner reading "60th Anniversary Commemorative One-Heart Sports Day," she showed off her tall figure. Holding cheering props in her hands, she posed for a V sign beside her daughter and captured memories from the event.
Kim Sung-eun said, "I ran even harder for Yoon Ha, who was upset that dad couldn't make it," revealing her feelings as a mother. She also joined the hula hoop event herself and joked, "I guess I need more practice," drawing laughter.
Fans responded with messages such as "Mom is the best," "This must have been a sports day Yoon Ha will remember for the rest of her life," "She filled even Jung Jo-guk's absence," and "It feels warm just looking at it," offering their support.
Meanwhile, Kim Sung-eun married Jung Jo-guk in 2009. Jung, a former South Korea national football team player and one of the K League's most prominent strikers, later retired after playing for FC Seoul and the national team. He is currently working as a coach.
