Tablo Exposes DJ Tukutz's Over-the-Line Joke: "He Still Teases Me About Academic Fraud"

[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Epik High offered cheerful life advice to subscribers with outrageous concerns.

On the afternoon of the 25th, Epik High released a new episode on its official YouTube channel EPIKASE titled "You Threw Away a Winning Lottery Ticket??? ft. Outrageous Life Advice."

That day, Epik High held a life-advice session, listening to subscribers' outrageous worries and offering guidance. The first story was about someone who "accidentally threw away a second-prize lottery ticket." Tablo sympathized, saying, "You should never throw things away carelessly," while Mithra Jin said, "You'll think about it until the day you die." Tablo then advised, "Some people think their lives got messed up because of something like this, but if you're living steadily and doing well now, that's fine." Mithra Jin added, "It's better to let it go cleanly and focus on your life now."

Another subscriber shared a story about having a three-way confrontation with an ex and the ex's affair partner after breaking up because of infidelity. The person said they told the affair partner to "live with guilt for the rest of your life," but was stunned when the ex replied, "Shouldn't you be saying that to me?" Tablo said, "I'm not saying the affair partner did the right thing, but isn't that the kind of thing you should say to your ex?" DJ Tukutz added, "Isn't that just a request to be cursed at? Then just curse them out," showing sympathy for the storyteller.

A middle school subscriber said they had been scammed out of their entire savings of 140,000 won, which they had set aside to attend an Epik High fan meeting, and the members could not hide their disappointment. Tablo said, "They are around the age of our sons and daughters, so I feel even worse for them." He added, "The best thing is never to go through something like this, but if you already have, I hope you can use it as valuable groundwork for the future," offering heartfelt comfort.

Another subscriber raised a concern, saying, "I want to crack jokes all the time, but my brain just doesn't work well." DJ Tukutz responded, "If you try too hard to be funny, it actually isn't funny," and added, "This isn't something you can achieve through practice or effort. You have to be born with it." Mithra Jin explained, "The three of us are naturally wired that way," and DJ Tukutz advised, "If it doesn't work out, you can give up and live as a serious person instead."

The outrageous stories kept coming. Epik High continued the life-advice session, giving honest guidance based on their own experiences. The final concern was a story asking how to deal with a friend who has a personality similar to DJ Tukutz. Tukutz responded, "I think there's a big misunderstanding about me. I'm not the type to cross the line or deliberately provoke people." Tablo, however, shot back, "Don't you still make jokes about academic fraud to me?" Mithra Jin then made everyone laugh by saying, "Tukutz's line is a dotted line, so it's okay to cross it." Tablo added warmly, "Tukutz is someone who has improved a lot with age," and said he has become "the kind of person who gets better and more genuine as he gets older," bringing the segment to a heartwarming close.

Meanwhile, Epik High continues to present a wide range of content every week through EPIKASE, featuring various themes and guests. The group will also hold its first fan meeting, "Alumni," on July 4 and 5 at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul.
