Moon Ji-in, Pregnant with Her First Child, Is Showered with Luxury Baby Gifts at Eight Months: "If I Even Know It, It Must Be Expensive"

Actress Moon Ji-in shared a glimpse of her life as an expectant mother, revealing baby gifts that filled her home as she prepared for childbirth.

On the 25th, a video showing Moon Ji-in and her husband Kim Ki-ri preparing for the birth was uploaded to the YouTube channel "A Friend of a Friend."

That day, Moon Ji-in said, "I need to check exactly what gifts I received and what else I still need," adding, "I’m finally going to step into the forbidden room that I can no longer put off," as she began unboxing the baby items she had received after announcing her pregnancy.

The room was packed with delivery boxes, leaving almost no space to walk. Moon Ji-in said, "There are so many boxes stacked up, so I’ll open them one by one and check everything."

A baby formula warmer appeared first, followed by baby sneakers and a variety of other baby products. When she found a luxury-brand blanket, Moon Ji-in could not hide her surprise, saying, "I’m not even familiar with things like this, but if I know it, then it must be expensive."

Watching beside her, her husband Kim Ki-ri also expressed his gratitude, saying, "I’m truly thankful to everyone who bought baby gifts for us."

Even with all the gifts, there were still many items left to prepare. Moon Ji-in said, "We still need things like a stroller, car seat, crib, and baby chair," adding, "This is not the time for us to just sit around. We need to study, write everything down, and get ready one by one."

She then laughed and said, "People say baby care is all about the gear for a reason," adding, "They say a formula maker would be nice, and someone is apparently planning to give us one."

It was also revealed that Moon Ji-in’s stay at the postpartum care center overlaps with their moving date. In response, Kim Ki-ri showed his dependable side as a husband, saying, "Honey, just come as you are," which warmed hearts.

Later, Moon Ji-in and Kim Ki-ri went to receive baby items with Kim Seung-hye, who is 24 weeks pregnant.

The venue was filled with luxury baby products, including Dior baby clothes, and Kim Ki-ri and Kim Seung-hye playfully sparred over the items they wanted. In the end, the two shared the baby goods fairly through rock-paper-scissors, drawing smiles.

Kim Ki-ri said, "We’ll do our best to raise our child well with the items we received," adding jokingly, "By the time the baby can talk, I’ll definitely brag and say, 'Your older sister helped raise you like this.'" He expressed his gratitude with a lighthearted remark.

Meanwhile, Moon Ji-in married comedian Kim Ki-ri in May 2024 and recently announced her pregnancy. The baby is a boy, and the due date is in August.
