Lee Yoon-jin's son Daeul passes interpretation and translation exam without private tutoring: "As a working mom, I was anxious"

[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Daeul, the son of interpreter Lee Yoon-jin, has passed an interpretation and translation exam.

On the 26th, Lee Yoon-jin announced her son's success, saying, "Daeul passed the junior interpretation and translation exam at Level 7! Studying with mom is not easy, but after working hard together at home for a little over two months, he finished one whole book and proudly passed the interpretation and translation exam."

Lee Yoon-jin said, "At first, we had some arguments and there were difficult moments, but Daeul pulled himself together again, sharpened his pencils, filled two notebooks, and saw it through to the end. I don't think I can fully describe how proud I was to see his back as he confidently walked into the exam room." She added, "After returning to Korea, I often felt anxious and sorry as a working mom when I saw the intense private education environment around us. I am truly grateful to Daeul, who is creating wonderful results at our own pace without being swayed by other people's speed, and to our Soeul, who is so busy we barely have time to take photos."

Daeul had taken on the interpretation and translation exam last month. Since Lee Yoon-jin shared the news of his successful result, fans have been sending messages of support to the mother and son.

Meanwhile, Lee Yoon-jin married actor Lee Beom-soo in 2010 and had one daughter and one son. The couple announced their divorce in 2024. After two years of divorce disputes, they reached an amicable settlement in February. During the divorce process, Lee Yoon-jin stayed in Bali, and she has recently settled in Korea with her son and daughter.
