[Sportschosun Jo Min-jeong reporter] Kim Min-hyung, a former announcer at Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS), shared that she recently took part in volunteer work at the National Cemetery to mark the Month of Patriots and Veterans.

On the 25th, Kim Min-hyung posted on her social media, "It made me reflect once again on the fact that even our familiar daily lives, and the ordinary today we live in, are possible because of someone’s sacrifice." She added, "A June volunteer activity with new employees. I will not forget it and will remember it."

Photos released online showed Kim Min-hyung visiting Seoul National Cemetery in Dongjak District, Seoul. As she toured the cemetery graves and took part in the volunteer work, she spent time paying tribute to the fallen with a calm expression.

The volunteer activity took place on the 18th. Kim Min-hyung reportedly joined the effort to clean up the gravesite environment with her husband, Kim Dai-heon, head of planning at Hoban Group, and more than 30 new employees from the group.

Kim Min-hyung said, "I will not forget that even an ordinary day is built on someone’s sacrifice," expressing gratitude and remembrance.

Kim Min-hyung joined SBS in 2018 as a new announcer and became widely known as a host of programs including SBS Eight O'Clock News, Sports Tonight, and Y-Story. She left SBS in 2020 and married Kim Dai-heon, the eldest son of Hoban Group Chairman Kim Sang-yeol and head of planning at Hoban Group, later that same year. She is currently serving as a managing director in the group’s communications office and continues to carry out various external activities.
