[Sportschosun Lee Gae-eun] Big Bang member Daesung revealed how G-Dragon and Taeyang reacted after dating rumors involving Heo Young-ji.
On the 26th, Daesung's YouTube channel Jipdaeseong released a video in which he addressed the recent dating rumors.
When the production team brought up the rumors involving Heo Young-ji, Daesung said, "It has been a while since I've had this kind of celebrity life," adding that he had received messages from G-Dragon and Taeyang. Daesung had recently been swept up in dating rumors after being photographed sitting closely with Heo Young-ji at a concert, but he said the reports were false.
According to the Big Bang group chat Daesung shared, G-Dragon asked about the rumors, saying, "Daesung, what is this? If it's true, I really want to congratulate you." Daesung replied that he and Heo Young-ji were just close friends, but Taeyang seemed not to have seen that response and joked, "Didn't I say Young-ji was fine? You two look like a good match," drawing laughter.
When Daesung again stressed that Heo Young-ji was only a younger sister to him, G-Dragon responded, "What a shame," showing that he was genuinely hoping Daesung would be dating.
A little later, Heo Young-ji appeared and began explaining what had happened. She said, "Two weeks ago, Moonbyul unnie contacted me and said Daesung oppa would probably come to the concert, so I should take good care of him. I said okay, but later I forgot he was coming," drawing a line under claims that the two were especially close.
About the photo in which she was seen close to Daesung, she explained, "It just looked like we were leaning against each other. Oppa was checking around because his light stick would not turn on, so I opened the battery compartment and found there were no batteries. We were talking about that," making everyone laugh.
