[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Ok-soon from Season 19 of 'I Am Solo' shared an update ahead of her wedding to Sang-cheol.
On the 27th, the YouTube channel Chonjang Entertainment TV uploaded a video titled "Who Proposed, Season 19 Ok-soon or Sang-cheol?"
Sang-cheol had drawn attention online for looking much heavier than he did during his appearance on 'I Am Solo.' Ok-soon explained his recent condition, saying, "He has lost a lot of weight now, and the photo that went viral was taken on a day when he was bloated. He did gain some weight, but that picture just happened to catch him looking especially puffy. I love late-night snacks and treats, and I think we got bloated from eating them together."
Season 9 Ok-soon asked, "Didn’t you say Ok-soon made the first kiss? Who proposed?" Ok-soon replied, "Sang-cheol proposed." Season 19 Ok-soon said, "I could tell something was coming, but I pretended not to notice. I had a feeling he might do it soon, and then he proposed. It wasn’t anything grand, just simple. He didn’t give me anything special. He just said, 'It’s about time we got married, isn’t it? I want to do it with you,' and proposed in a similar way, so I said yes."
Season 9 Ok-soon asked, "Did he get down on one knee or anything like that?" Season 19 Ok-soon grimaced and said, "I hate that kind of thing. I told him not to do anything cringey."
When it was mentioned that all the Season 19 cast members are still close, Season 9 Ok-soon said, "They’ll all come to your wedding." Season 19 Ok-soon replied, "I’ll make sure they all come. The wedding will be held in Gijang County, Busan. It’s a bit far into Busan, so transportation is a concern, but I’ll make sure everyone can come. We haven’t looked for a newlywed home yet because I’ve been too busy with work, but we plan to start looking next month."
Ok-soon said their newlywed home will also be in Busan. "I’m the type who likes to settle down, but Sang-cheol’s job requires him to move around a lot. We can’t keep changing houses to follow him, so I’ll commute to Busan and have a home there, while Sang-cheol comes and goes on weekends," she said.
Meanwhile, Sang-cheol and Ok-soon from Season 19 of SBS PLUS and ENA's 'I Am Solo' met on the show’s special edition for lifelong singles and became a couple. Ok-soon works in design and office administration at a heavy machinery pipe manufacturing company, while Sang-cheol is a site management supervisor at a construction company.
