On the 22nd, a video titled "Song Ga-in at the hospital where I was admitted? Song Ga-in makes a surprise visit for a true fan!! She even sings her heart out for the fan who burst into tears" was uploaded to Song Ga-in's YouTube channel.
In the video, Song Ga-in heard that a longtime fan who had supported her at every event had undergone knee surgery and was hospitalized at a hospital in Jeonju, so she decided to visit in person.
Song Ga-in said, "I saw a photo of her in the hospital and exchanged messages with her on Instagram. She said she had already had the surgery and was now in rehabilitation training, so I wanted to surprise her."
After finding the hospital herself from the photo the fan had posted, Song Ga-in went to the room and hid on an empty bed while the fan was briefly away for treatment. When the fan returned, the production team acted as Song Ga-in's guardian and kept the conversation going naturally.
Song Ga-in then played one of her songs, and the fan immediately reacted with familiarity upon hearing it. When the production team said, "Her daughter dreams of becoming a singer, loves trot music, and is a fan of Song Ga-in," the fan became emotional and said, "Nice to meet you. I love Song Ga-in so much too. I used to follow her to concerts all over the country, but I injured my leg and couldn't go for months. I cry whenever I see her."
At last, Song Ga-in appeared before the fan, who had already been tearing up at the mere mention of her name, and the fan could not hide her shock.
After sharing a warm hug, Song Ga-in handed the fan a fruit basket she had prepared and said, "You've always given things to me, but this is the first time I've given you something." Her words made the moment even more touching.
