[Sportschosun Baek Ji-eun] Park Yoo-chun’s recent whereabouts have been revealed.
On the 28th, Park Yoo-chun posted a photo on his account, writing, "Good night." In the released photo, he is standing in a hallway wearing a gray shirt and blond permed hair. His face looks slightly fuller, giving the impression that he has somewhat regained the looks he was once known for.
In a photo from an event released on the 27th, Park Yoo-chun was also seen smiling brightly and interacting with fans. His signature eye smile remains, but his arms are now covered in tattoos, making it hard to find any trace of the fresh image he once had.
In 2019, Park Yoo-chun was arrested and indicted on charges of purchasing drugs with his former girlfriend Hwang Hana and repeatedly using part of them on several occasions. After Hwang Hana’s allegations first made the drug-use suspicions public, Park Yoo-chun held a press conference and cried, saying, "I bet my entire entertainment career that I have never used drugs." However, he later admitted to all the charges during the police investigation, leaving many feeling betrayed.
The court later suspended his sentence on July 2, 2019, citing that it was his first offense and that he had shown remorse. Once free, Park Yoo-chun shed tears and apologized, but he soon reversed his retirement from the entertainment industry, posted photos of gifts from fans, and resumed activities mainly overseas, drawing fierce criticism.
Park Yoo-chun is currently staying in Japan and continuing his activities there.
