During a recent recording of SBS's "My Ugly Duckling," Lyn met up with her best friend of 20 years, Baek Ji-young, for a special outing. Lyn, a self-proclaimed "Trend Girl," volunteered to be a one-day trend guide for Baek Ji-young, who is a "Trend Dum Girl," and introduced "Jelly-kkeu" (decorating jelly shoes), a trend recently popular among the MZ generation. Lyn expressed her excitement, but Baek Ji-young showed a lukewarm reaction, saying, "I don't know much about that kind of thing. " However, that was only for a moment. Upon seeing the various colorful and flashy accessories, Baek Ji-young completely changed her demeanor, eliciting laughter by exclaiming, "Is there a world like this?" and "My eyes are spinning.
" Afterward, Lyn shared the story of what happened after she decided to divorce. She stated, "I wanted to inform Baek Ji-young of the divorce first," revealing that she first shared the news at a gathering with colleagues including Baek Ji-young, Yoon Jong-shin, and Kim Bum-soo. Yoon Jong-shin reportedly delivered an unexpected message in response to Lyn saying, "I have something to say. " Additionally, Baek Ji-young evoked a touching sentiment by recalling her feelings upon hearing the news of Lyn's divorce.
Lyn married MC the Max's Lee Soo in 2014. Although she actively defended Lee Soo even amidst the controversy surrounding his alleged underage prostitution prior to their marriage and waged an all-out war against malicious commenters, she ultimately announced her divorce in August 2025, 11 years after their marriage. Her agency stated, "Neither party was at fault; they amicably reached an agreement based on sufficient dialogue and mutual respect to put an end to their marriage.
