[Sportschosun reporter Lee Woo-joo] Kim Da-ye, the wife of broadcaster Park Soo-hong, revealed her weight-loss tips.
On the 29th, a video titled "Will Jae-i recognize her 90 kg mom? A shocked reaction! And Jae-i's day of running around all day (childcare vlog & diet vlog)" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Happy Dahong."
Park Soo-hong's daughter, Jae-i, looked at photos of her mother and father when Kim Da-ye was pregnant. Jae-i immediately recognized her father, Park Soo-hong, but did not recognize her mother, Kim Da-ye, who weighed 90 kg at the time. Park Soo-hong pointed to the maternity photos and asked, "Where is Mom in this picture?" but Jae-i could not answer. Kim Da-ye was then surprised and said, "She can't recognize me from my 90 kg days."
Kim Da-ye drew attention with her slimmer appearance. She said, "Last summer, I got down to 57 kg, but then I hit a plateau for a year. Recently, I lost another 5 kg, and the most important thing I tried was strength training," adding that she had become more successful with her diet.
She explained, "My body has little muscle, so my metabolism is low and my basal metabolic rate is also low. In other words, I gain weight easily. To overcome that and prevent rebound weight gain, I worked really hard on strength training, but I gained 600 grams in a month. When using the StairMaster, you have to push up by pressing through your heels. That helped a lot."
She continued, "The second thing I did was start controlling my diet. For dinner, I ate only egg whites and protein, without carbohydrates, and I kept breakfast light as well. At lunch, I ate as much of what I wanted as possible. If you get too stressed, you won't lose weight. For dinner, I ate only protein," sharing her diet tips.
