[Sportschosun reporter An So-yoon] Comedian Kim Young-hee offered comfort to parents who appeared on 'Malja Show.'
The KBS2 program 'Malja Show,' which aired on the 15th, featured a special episode titled 'The World of Adults.' During the broadcast, a concern was raised: "I thought I would naturally become a mother after having a baby. But my body and mind do not go the way I want. It hurts to feel like I am the only inadequate mother."
'Malja Grandma' Kim Young-hee shared her own breastfeeding experience. She said, "I had a time when I felt upset too. It was during my stay at the postpartum care center," and added, "I was not someone who produced breast milk easily. So the director of the care center recommended that I use a breast pump."
Kim Young-hee said, "Even with the breast pump, I could not fill a single bottle," and joked, "When I compared that with the amount of breast milk other mothers pumped, I felt self-loathing. I even wondered whether I should ask them for their leftovers," drawing laughter.
Kim Young-hee emphasized, "Even though my child grew up drinking only a small amount of breast milk, the child is now growing up healthier than anyone else," adding, "We are doing our best to raise our children within our means." She continued, "There is no such thing as a mother or father who is not good enough. You do not need to blame yourself. Mothers and fathers are truly amazing," offering encouragement.
The broadcast also featured a balance game asking, 'Do you tell your spouse about your secret preference, or do you hide it?' Guest Lady Jane said, "You should keep what needs to be kept private, but couples should communicate most openly about secrets that matter to each other."
Obstetrician-gynecologist Kim Ji-yeon also agreed, saying, "A sense of mystery is still necessary between spouses," and advised not to show too much nudity in everyday life. She added, "If you live together for a long time, you start to look like family. Then all that remains is comfort, and sexual attraction drops a lot. It is important to still remain a man or a woman to each other." Kim Young-hee then bowed her head and said, "I guess I should wear clothes at home," drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, KBS2's 'Malja Show' airs every Monday at 9:30 p.m.
