A production briefing for the Netflix film "Husbands in Action" (directed by Park Gyu-tae and produced by TPS Company) was held on the morning of the 15th at The Ambassador Seoul - A Pullman Hotel in Jung District, Seoul. Attending the event were Jin Seon-kyu, who plays Chungsik, the ace of the narcotics unit and Sine's ex-husband; Gong Myung, who plays Min-seok, a young and handsome veterinarian and Sine's current husband; Kim Ji-seok, who plays Do-jun, the head of a new drug syndicate; Yoon Kyung-ho, who plays Yong-gang, another gang leader trying to reclaim his territory from Do-jun; Kang Han-na, who plays Sine, who is kidnapped by the drug ring; Lee Da-hee, who plays Hye-ran, who stages the kidnapping to get her husband Do-jun back; Jeon So-min, who plays Ara, a social affairs reporter tailing Chungsik in hopes of landing a scoop; and director Park Gyu-tae.
Jin Seon-kyu said, "I read the script carefully, and I kept finding myself saying the lines out loud as I read. It sparked a fun imagination, and I decided to join because I wanted to work with these actors." Gong Myung added, "This project was especially meaningful because it gave me a chance to work with Jin Seon-kyu hyung for the second time since 'Extreme Job.' It was a project I had no reason to turn down."
"Husbands in Action" is a comedy action film about an unpredictable operation by an ex-husband and a current husband who team up by chance to rescue a wife kidnapped by a criminal organization. Starring Jin Seon-kyu, Gong Myung, Kim Ji-seok, Yoon Kyung-ho, Kang Han-na, Lee Da-hee and Jeon So-min, the film is directed by Park Gyu-tae of "6/45." It will be released on Netflix on the 19th.
