A production briefing for the Netflix film 'Husbands in Action' (directed by Park Gyu-tae, produced by TPS Company) was held on the morning of the 15th at The Ambassador Seoul - A Pullman Hotel in Jung District, Seoul. Attending the event were Jin Seon-kyu, who plays Chungsik, a narcotics unit ace and Sinae's ex-husband; Gong Myung, who plays Min-seok, a young and handsome veterinarian and Sinae's current husband; Kim Ji-seok, who plays Do-jun, the leader of a new drug syndicate; Yoon Kyung-ho, who plays Yong-gang, another gang boss trying to reclaim his territory from Do-jun; Kang Han-na, who plays Sinae, who is kidnapped by the drug ring; Lee Da-hee, who plays Hye-ran, who stages the abduction in order to get her husband back; Jeon So-min, who plays Ara, a social affairs reporter trailing Chungsik in hopes of a scoop; and director Park Gyu-tae.
Director Park Gyu-tae added, "I have heard that I am blessed when it comes to actors. Casting is really difficult. Even when there is an actor I want, it is not easy to get them to join a project. I think casting is all about timing and energy, and these are truly great actors, aren't they? I am happy that all the actors I wanted joined the project, as if heaven helped us."
'Husbands in Action' is a comic action film about an ex-husband and a current husband who reluctantly team up to rescue a wife kidnapped by a criminal organization. It stars Jin Seon-kyu, Gong Myung, Kim Ji-seok, Yoon Kyung-ho, Kang Han-na, Lee Da-hee, and Jeon So-min, and is directed by Park Gyu-tae of '6/45.' It will be released on Netflix on the 19th.
