[Sportschosun, Joon-seok Kim] Karina, a member of the group aespa, directly addressed her facial expression after being spotted at the airport on her way out of the country.
On the 10th, Karina connected with fans by sharing several article photos taken at Incheon International Airport on her Social Networking Service (SNS).
In the released photos, Karina drew attention with her neat yet stylish look. In some shots, however, she appeared slightly frowning, which sparked curiosity among fans.
Karina then explained the reason herself.
She said, "Because of my allergies, I had to keep frowning so it wouldn't show. I'm upset."
She added, "I really liked my hair and makeup today, though. I'll be on my way now! Fighting!" expressing both disappointment and a cheerful farewell.
Fans responded to Karina's candid explanation with messages of support, saying, "She's still so professional even when she's sick," "I hope people won't worry too much about her expression," and "Her hair and makeup are beautiful too."
Meanwhile, Karina and Winter departed for Mexico through Incheon International Airport on the morning of the day to attend a schedule for the 2026 FIFA World Cup support squad.
