News that comedian Kim Ki-soo is running a one-person hair salon in Gyeonggi Province has been making waves online.
According to online communities, Kim Ki-soo is now meeting customers under the name “Susaem” and is said to be offering not only hair services but also personal color analysis and makeup consultations.
Visitors have responded positively, leaving reviews such as “The consultation is very thorough,” “I was very satisfied with the styling,” and “He was kinder than I expected.”
As news of his recent activities spread, a video about Kim Ki-soo that YouTuber Ka-gwang posted last year is also drawing renewed attention.
In July 2025, Ka-gwang released a video titled “Kim Ki-soo’s Recent Update” and visited the salon Kim Ki-soo operates. At the time, the two sat down to clear up a misunderstanding that had arisen in 2022.
Kim Ki-soo said he had been under severe stress because of malicious comments and disruptions from Ka-gwang’s viewers, and that he had mistakenly believed Ka-gwang intended to cause those problems. In the early part of the video, Kim Ki-soo could not hide his discomfort and even asked for filming to stop.
Ka-gwang then offered a direct apology, and Kim Ki-soo continued the conversation by opening up about the malicious reviews and prank calls he had suffered. In the end, the two understood each other’s positions, resolved the misunderstanding, and reconciled warmly.
At the end of the video, Ka-gwang promised, “Next time, I’ll turn off the broadcast and come get my hair done properly,” and Kim Ki-soo accepted, bringing their conflict to a close.
Meanwhile, Kim Ki-soo debuted in 2001 as a comedian in the 16th open recruitment class of Korean Broadcasting System (KBS). He later transformed into a beauty creator and is now said to have begun a new chapter as a hair designer.
