[Sportschosun, Kim So-hee] Actor Sung Dong-il and his son Sung Joon will appear together and share a surprising update on their lives.
The YouTube channel "Yun Jumo, the brewer," which will be released at 5:30 p.m. on the 12th, features Sung Dong-il and Sung Joon as they share warm updates and open up about thoughts they had never spoken about before. The program is produced by TME Group and directed by Moon Tae-joo.
On the day of the shoot, Yoon Jumo, or chef Yoon Nara, warmly welcomed their visit, saying, "The child I used to find adorable on 'Dad! Where Are We Going?' has become a college student." She added, "It feels so exciting to see that little kid grow up and come to Yunjudang with his father for a drink." Sung Joon’s composed appearance, now that he has grown so much, filled the set with a heartwarming atmosphere.
Sung Dong-il said he had never even watched "Culinary Class Wars" because there is no TV at home. He also revealed an unexpected fact, saying he had not watched "Dad! Where Are We Going?" when he and his children were on the show either. Sung Joon said he had not watched the program at the time as well, adding, "These days, my dad shows it to me sometimes." Sung Dong-il replied, "I watch it on YouTube when I feel nostalgic."
Sung Dong-il said that his dream was to have a drink with Sung Joon. After receiving Yoon Jumo’s welcome drink, he happily sipped his glass and said, "This is the perfect drink to get things going." Yoon Jumo then teased Sung Joon by asking, "Do you have a girlfriend?" and added, "I’ll give you a few bottles of alcohol," raising curiosity about how Sung Joon responded.
It was also revealed that Sung Joon, who is currently a sophomore in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Hanyang University, holds two patents, drawing surprise. Sung Joon said, "I filed a patent with my teacher in middle school," and added, "When I went to Science High School, I entered competitions with my friends and filed another patent." That sparked interest in what the patents are about. Sung Dong-il expressed pride in his son, saying, "I’m so happy that Joon is still growing," and added, "He still worries a lot about his future. He is also studying psychology again, which he has been interested in for a long time."
Sung Joon often gives advice to his friends at school about relationships and other concerns. Yoon Jumo shared her own worries, saying, "There are many people who cheer me on, but if there are malicious comments, I get hurt and become scared." After Sung Joon offered advice, Yoon Jumo was moved and said, "Joon has such a strong heart," adding to the curiosity about what he told her. Sung Joon also spoke about the side of his father that he admired most, saying, "What I find amazing is that he never shows tears." He added, "When I was in fourth grade, I saw my dad cry uncontrollably for the first and only time in my life." Attention is also focused on Sung Dong-il’s story. In particular, a surprise guest is set to appear at the end of the broadcast and shock everyone.
