[Sportschosun Kim Jun-seok] Former announcers turned entertainers stirred up the broadcasting world with their bold and candid remarks.
On the 12th, a video titled "Sisters Who Came Prepared With Spicy Stories" was uploaded to the YouTube channel B-Class Studio.
The program featured Son Moon-sun, Park Ga-young, and another former announcer often described as an "outsider in the announcer world." The three shared a series of provocative stories they had never told anywhere else.
The most attention-grabbing topic was the dark side of the entertainment industry: sponsorship offers.
Son Moon-sun shocked everyone by revealing that in the past, a business figure once offered her 1 billion won if she would simply have a meal with him.
Park Ga-young also brought up the secretive offers that come through social network service direct messages.
She said, "I get messages saying they will give me 30 million won for a date, calling it a VVIP matching service."
She added, "When I mentioned that, another announcer said, 'I once received an offer of up to 50 million won.' I thought I was on a higher level than that person, so I wasn't going to accept it, but it still hurt my pride." Her remark sparked a subtle competition over the amounts among the cast, drawing laughter.
They also warned that "all of these are dangerous offers that could be scams or linked to crimes."
