Kang Ye-won Reveals She Has Had Seven Procedures, Including Double-Eyelid Surgery and Epicanthoplasty: "I Was Stressed After a Failed Surgery... I Went Under the Knife in Secret"

[Sportschosun Cho Yoon-sun] Actress Kang Ye-won candidly opened up about her cosmetic surgery.

On the 14th, Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS)'s "My Little Old Boy" released a video titled "Kang Ye-won, Ice Packs from the Morning to Reduce Swelling and Redness (ft. Cosmetic Surgery)."

In the video, Kang Ye-won showed her down-to-earth charm by openly revealing everything from rough brushing to blowing her nose while washing her face in the morning. Han Chae-ah, Kang Ye-won's close friend who appeared as a special MC, laughed and said, "I think my sister brushes her teeth 20 times a day," adding, "She's really let herself go."

Kang Ye-won then used an ice pack on her face to reduce swelling. Han Chae-ah explained, "She's very sensitive about swelling. She always does things like that."

A little later, when her roommate came out of the room, Kang Ye-won asked, "We ate way too much yesterday. I ate for no reason. Do I look swollen?" The roommate replied, "Your face looks a little swollen."

Growing more sensitive, Kang Ye-won asked again, "Do I look ugly?" The roommate made everyone laugh by saying, "Out of all the faces I've seen in the past 21 years, this one is the most complete."

Kang Ye-won asked back, "Are you talking about cosmetic surgery? You mean my eyes turned out well?" The roommate replied, "This is the most complete version so far. The combination of features is good. So stop now. It's over."

Kang Ye-won then snapped, saying, "I had the epicanthoplasty because of you. I'm suddenly getting angry." Hearing that, the roommate calmed her down, saying, "I told you to do it only once, but you kept going after that, didn't you? Don't do it anymore. It turned out well."

Kang Ye-won also confessed, "Do you know how pretty my eyes were before surgery? People told me not to do it, but I secretly went and had it done." The roommate pointed out, "You're still secretly doing things, aren't you? From what I can tell, it's more than ten times."

Kang Ye-won shot back, "Are you saying I had something done once every two years for 20 years? It definitely wasn't more than 10 times. I'm not that diligent." But when the roommate asked, "Didn't you have double-eyelid surgery redone several times?" Kang Ye-won admitted, "I think it was about seven times."
