Mija, Married to Kim Tae Hyun, Clarifies Her Childbearing Plans After Reports Said She Had Given Up on Having Children

[Sportschosun Kim Soo-hyun] Broadcaster Mija answered fans' questions directly and shared her honest thoughts about having children with her husband, Kim Tae Hyun.

On the 14th, Mija spent time actively communicating with fans through a "Ask Me Anything" segment on Social Network Service (SNS).

One fan asked about the couple's plans for children, saying, "I'm asking carefully. Are you DINK? That's why I'm asking."

Mija replied without hesitation, "We're not DINK," and added, "It would be fine if we have one, and fine if we don't," speaking candidly about her views.

In particular, Mija drew attention for her calm attitude, showing that she prefers to leave the matter to nature rather than feel pressured about childbearing plans.

Back in March, Mija also responded to a question asking whether the couple was preparing to have a child by saying, "Together, we're well over 90 years old." After reports flooded in saying she had given up on having children, she clarified, "I never specifically declared that I was DINK."

Mija has long described her marriage to Kim Tae Hyun as a friendship-like relationship, and she has won much affection by sharing their cheerful married life through broadcasts and SNS.

Meanwhile, Mija is the daughter of actor Jang Gwang and Jun Sung-ae. She married comedian Kim Tae Hyun, who is six years older, in 2022.

She currently runs the YouTube channel Mija Tavern, where she presents a variety of content, and she is also active as a home shopping show host.

She recently made headlines for her successful diet. Mija said she lost 4.35 kg in about seven days and revealed, "My morning weight is 49.23 kg. That's crazy. The hidden lines in my body have been revealed," surprising many.
