Shiho Yano Reveals Second Pregnancy Loss After IVF: "We Lost the Baby at 12 Weeks, So I’ve Given Up Now" ('My Little Old Boy')

[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Shiho Yano of 'My Little Old Boy' has revealed that she lost her second baby.

The SBS entertainment program 'My Little Old Boy,' which aired on the 14th, showed Shiho Yano and Han Hye-jin visiting Lee Hye-jung's home.

Choo Sarang, Shiho Yano's daughter, recently drew attention after starting work as a model. Yano said, "I first walked in the Paris Fashion Collection when I was 6." Sarang, now 16, is already 173 cm tall. Yano strongly supported her daughter's modeling career, saying, "I'm happy. I hope she gets to walk in a Chanel fashion show. I couldn't stand on that stage myself."

Lee Hye-jung, who said she even lost her period because of the extreme dieting she went through during her modeling days, confessed, "I didn't even know I had stopped menstruating. It had been three years. I thought I had gone through menopause. I was so busy living that I didn't notice. When I went to an obstetrics and gynecology clinic after coming to South Korea, they told me it wasn't menopause after all, but that my periods had stopped because there was no blood left to come out. I couldn't get pregnant, I had miscarriages, and I failed several times with artificial insemination."

Lee Hye-jung asked Yano, "Did you also go through IVF?" Yano replied, "I did it when I was 40. After giving birth to Sarang, I became pregnant through IVF, but I miscarried. It was around 14 weeks? I had also miscarried once before Sarang, and once again after Sarang." Lee Hye-jung then asked, "So do you still want a second child?" Yano shook her head and said, "I can't do it now."

Lee Hye-jung then made everyone laugh by saying, "My son really wants a younger sibling. He's 8 now, but he cried for a brother or sister starting when he was 5. So I told him to go talk to his father about it."
