[Sportschosun, Reporter Wooju Lee] Actress Han Groo spoke candidly about life after her divorce.
On the 14th, a short video titled "Men Who Take Divorced Women Lightly and Make Advances" was posted on the YouTube channel Manrijangseongyu.
The woman in her 20s said she was preparing for divorce and explained, "The paperwork is done, and since the house belongs to my ex-husband, I am looking for a new place to move into. I recently told only my close acquaintances about the divorce, but a person I thought was a friend kept flirting with me. How long should I wait after a divorce before meeting someone else? Would it be okay to meet this person?" She then asked for thoughts on a man who showed interest while she was preparing for divorce.
In response, Han Groo said, "I have been through a divorce myself, and even when people break up after dating, they need time to recover. Divorce is no different. After ending a marriage, you need time to regain your life."
Jang Sung-kyu asked, "Were there any men who approached you after learning you were divorced?" Han Groo replied honestly, "There were. More than I expected."
She added, "That is why I thought I needed to be careful. There are many genuinely good people, but there are also some with bad intentions. Some people seem to think that because I am divorced, I am easy, so they casually make advances."
Meanwhile, Han Groo married a businessman nine years older than her in 2015 and had twin children, but the couple divorced in 2022. Since then, she has been raising the twins on her own and communicating with fans through her YouTube channel.
