Lyn Opens Up About Her Pain in Recent Interview After Divorce: "I Was So Nervous on Stage That I Felt Short of Breath"

[Sportschosun, Kim Soo-hyun] Singer Lyn shared her honest feelings and recent updates as she marks her 26th year since debut.

On the 14th, YouTube channel 'THE Trot Borago' released Lyn's interview and behind-the-scenes stories.

Lyn, who is also active as a lyricist, spoke about her habit of keeping records. She said, "I have kept a diary steadily since I was young, and I still like jotting things down. Music is like a record of my life to me."

She added, "When I look at lyrics I wrote in the past, I remember the people I met and the situations I was in at the time." She explained, "I think it is meaningful as a singer to weave those emotions into a song."

When asked about the difference between her early days and now, she said, "I was shy on stage then and I still am now," but added, "I am more used to the stage now. In the past, I was so nervous that I felt short of breath."

She continued, "Now I can enjoy the stage while trying new genres," and said, "Thanks to the support of my fans, I was able to let go of my fear and pressure."

As for her recent life, she said she has been focusing on exercise. Lyn noted, "These days, I am working out hard. It makes me happy to feel dormant muscles waking up as I move my body." She added, "I am taking good care of my health so I can sing for you in good condition."

Meanwhile, Lyn drew attention by revealing her daily life after divorce through variety shows such as 'My Little Old Boy.' The program showed her natural routine at home alone and unexpected sides of her, which attracted interest.

Lyn married singer ISU in 2014, but the couple divorced last August after 11 years of marriage.

At the time, her agency said, "The divorce was reached through an amicable agreement, with no fault on either side." It added, "The two have ended their legal relationship, but they will continue to support each other as musical colleagues."
