[Sportschosun, Reporter Lee Ji-hyun] Actress Jin Seo-yeon has once again spoken about severe sleep problems and a drop in stamina, saying she needs rest.
On the 16th, Jin Seo-yeon posted photos of natural scenery on her social network service (SNS) and wrote, "My sleep has become so light these days. I just can't sleep. When I do fall asleep at night, I wake up at midnight. And then I can't go back to sleep... Sleep is so important..."
She added, "My physical abilities have noticeably declined. I will recover again. I'll diet, build strength, and improve my cardio endurance. And since I'll soon be unemployed, I'll study a lot too." She continued, "But first, I need to learn how to rest. You can only move forward if you know how to rest."
Her post suggests that repeated insomnia and declining stamina have significantly worsened her condition. In particular, her admission that "I wake up an hour after falling asleep and can't go back to sleep" has raised fans' concerns.
Previously, on the 14th, Jin Seo-yeon also used SNS to express extreme physical and mental exhaustion. At the time, she said, "These days I force myself to get up and work out, but my mind is overloaded and my body feels like it's trying to hold back," adding, "I've never had this much strain on both my body and mind before."
Jin Seo-yeon is currently appearing on stage in the play Mother of Him, where she plays Brenda, the mother of the perpetrator. She is delivering a demanding emotional performance that portrays the psychology of a mother whose life begins to fall apart after her son's crime, and she appears to be dealing with both mental and physical exhaustion from the intense energy she gives each performance.
At the time, Jin Seo-yeon said, "There are four days left," sharing how she felt ahead of the show's closing. She then said, "Once this production ends, I really won't do anything for a while," signaling plans to pause her acting activities and take enough time to rest and recharge.
Fans have been sending messages of support, saying, "We hope you rest well and come back healthy," and "Don't push yourself too hard and please take care of yourself first," after Jin Seo-yeon once again candidly revealed her sleep disorder and poor condition.
