[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Jun Hyo-seong's heartfelt request after Secret's comeback struck a chord with Kim Sook.
On the 15th, a video titled "Suddenly, Two Women Crying While Eating Pot Rice and a Full Secret Reunion♥" was uploaded to Kim Sook's YouTube channel.
Kim Sook reunited with Jun Hyo-seong, with whom she had worked as a master of ceremonies on "Video Star," after a long time. Jun Hyo-seong returned as Secret after 12 years, bringing in new member Yebin alongside Zinger. As she listened to Jun Hyo-seong, Kim Sook said with satisfaction, "You really do seem much brighter now. Before, your brightness felt forced, but now I can see real brightness in your eyes. You must be happy now." Jun Hyo-seong then teared up and said, "Of course, I don't know how things will turn out, but I really enjoy working, and it makes me so happy." Kim Sook also wiped away tears and said, "It's been a long time since I've seen Hyo-seong this bright. You must have had a really hard time."
Then Zinger and Yebin made surprise appearances, completing the full Secret lineup. Kim Sook said, "I'm completely introverted. I really worked up the courage to come out today." She added, "This was the first time I've seen a message like this from Hyo-seong. She has never asked me for a favor before."
Jun Hyo-seong sent Kim Sook a message saying, "I'm sorry to ask this, but I have one favor. Secret is finally making a comeback after a long time. But it's not easy to get broadcast appearances, so I gathered the courage to contact you and ask whether we could appear, even briefly for 30 seconds, on one of your programs or on YouTube."
In response, Kim Sook said, "When I saw that message, I thought she was truly desperate and really wanted to do something. I felt that she wanted to show something to the members. So I replied, 'Hyo-seong, you are always welcome.'"
Jun Hyo-seong said, "I really cried when I got that message. I was so grateful," while Kim Sook added with a laugh, "How could I refuse a request like that? But then she asked again. She said, 'Could the members also pass by for a moment?'"
Yebin said, "My older sister was very worried. Since I'm a new member, she kept saying she hoped I would get a lot of screen time." Kim Sook then laughed and said, "I was praising you. I said the new member was so pretty and talented, and asked whether she could just pass by for 30 seconds."
