[Sportschosun Park Ah-ram] Lee Gadon, known as the Warren Buffett of the reenactment acting world, will share how changing his name became a turning point in his life, along with his investment success story.
At the end of the episode of Maeil Broadcasting Network (MBN)'s "Dongchimi" that aired on the 13th, a preview for the next episode was released under the theme, "I will protect my hard-earned money."
The preview showed broadcaster Hyun Young, actress Jeon Won-ju, Lee Gadon and singer Baekga sharing stories about money management and investing.
Hyun Young, widely known as a financial expert, said, "The trend in investing is changing once again," while Jeon Won-ju drew attention by stressing, "You need to know the joy of saving money, not just spending it."
Lee Gadon especially drew attention when he revealed that he changed his name because of money. He said, "I once met an expert in name analysis, and I was told that the name Lee Gadon was a name with strong money luck. I was told it meant that if I kept this name, I would become money."
He added, "After I became interested in stock investing, I even looked into a company CEO’s birth chart." He said he invested after hearing that the person was born with the energy of a dragon, and the return reportedly soared to as much as 1,200%, surprising the studio.
Meanwhile, Jeon Won-ju once again became a topic of conversation for her unusual frugality. She said, "I hardly ever go to department stores and usually take the bus and subway," adding, "I hate wasting money so much that I rarely even turn on the lights at home. The meter reader thought the electricity meter was broken." Her remarks drew laughter.
