[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Broadcaster Park Ji-yoon shared an update on how busy she has been ahead of her daughter's departure for the United States.
On the 16th, Park posted several photos along with the message, "Why are there so many things to do before sending her to the United States? I have been busy since this morning taking Da-in around hospitals, and I am also busy making sure she eats all the things she wants before she leaves. Thanks to that, my mom card never seems to stop. Be filial, Choi Da-in."
The photos show Park Ji-yoon keeping up with a packed schedule in Korea with her daughter. With her daughter Da-in apparently preparing to study in the United States, Park has been busy taking her to hospitals and treating her to good food before the trip. She has also recently shared on Social Network Service (SNS) that she has been spending plenty of time with her daughter, including going on dates ahead of her departure.
After Park wrote that she was sending her daughter to the United States, fans began speculating that Da-in was about to leave for study abroad and sent messages of support.
Meanwhile, Park Ji-yoon's daughter graduated from the middle school program at Korea International School, Jeju Campus, last year and is reportedly studying with the goal of entering medical school.
Park previously explained why she sent her two children to an international school, saying, "People say we moved to Jeju Island because of the international school, but I am not as ambitious as people think when it comes to my children's studies. I am not interested in private education for my kids." She added, "My child saw the international school and said she wanted to go there. I honestly told her, 'If you go to an international school, I will get criticized,' but she still wanted to go. So I said I would send her if she passed the entrance exam, and she did. Since her school was decided, we have been living on Jeju Island ever since."
