[Sportschosun Kim Joon-seok] Actress Yoon Jin-yi shared her honest thoughts about plans for a third child.
On the 16th, a video titled "Parenting Q&A: How to Deal With a Sensitive Child, a Crying Child, a Child Who Hits Mom, and Even Plans for a Third Child (?)" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Real Yoon Jin-yi."
That day, Yoon Jin-yi answered subscribers' parenting concerns and spoke candidly about discipline, her parenting style, and the couple's philosophy on raising children.
Toward the end of the video, she was also asked the question many people had been curious about: whether she plans to have a third child.
When asked, "Are you not going to have a third child?" Yoon Jin-yi firmly replied, "A third child? Absolutely not."
She added, "If I could have a child at 50, I would want to try once. I think I might have different thoughts then," but drew a clear line by saying, "No, I just mean I’d like to think about it again when I’m 50. As of now, absolutely not," drawing laughter.
Yoon Jin-yi also said, "If I went back, I think I would still choose to have two children rather than one or two," and expressed her affection by adding, "Right now, it feels like our family is complete. It’s so cute to see my younger child waiting for the older one, and my first child is lovable in their own way."
She continued, "Raising children has made me feel so much more grateful in everyday life. Even being able to go out and have a meal together is something to be thankful for," adding, "I’m also grateful to my mother-in-law, who helps with childcare, and to my husband, who worked hard when he came home late because of a company event."
