[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Actress Nam Bo-ra has given birth to a son.
On the 17th, Nam Bo-ra announced the news herself, saying, "Kkongal came into the world on June 15."
Nam Bo-ra said, "Kkongal seems to be in his second round of life and is adapting calmly," adding, "I had been preparing for a natural birth all along. I worked out hard and followed a strict diet because I really wanted to succeed with a natural delivery. But at my final prenatal checkup before labor, the doctor said there was almost no amniotic fluid left. I could not have a natural birth or an induced labor, and if we waited any longer, it would be hard on the baby, so I had to undergo an emergency C-section."
She continued, "Because it happened so suddenly, I burst into tears out of fear, but I pulled myself together while thinking of Kkongal and went into the operating room. At 8:24 p.m., I was able to meet Kkongal." She added, "I will not forget this grateful feeling as I raise him and will do my best to raise him beautifully."
The photos released along with the post showed Nam Bo-ra's baby. Her son looked so calm and well adjusted to the world that it was hard to believe he had been born only two days earlier, drawing smiles from viewers.
Meanwhile, actress Nam Bo-ra married a businessman of the same age last May. Her husband is known for resembling soccer star Son Heung-min.

Kkongal came into the world on June 15.
Kkongal seems to be in his second round of life and is adapting calmly.
I had been preparing for a natural birth with Team Mamas all along.
I worked out hard
and followed a strict diet
because I really wanted to succeed with a natural delivery.
But at my final prenatal checkup before labor
the doctor said there was almost no amniotic fluid left.
I could not have a natural birth or an induced labor
and if we waited any longer, it would be hard on the baby,
so I had to undergo an emergency C-section.
Because it happened so suddenly
I burst into tears out of fear,
but I pulled myself together while thinking of Kkongal and went into the operating room,
and at 8:24 p.m., I was able to meet Kkongal.
I am disappointed that I could not have a natural birth,
but I was able to feel grateful to everyone who helped make sure
my baby could be born healthy,
including the doctors and nurses at Dongdaemun Rin Women's Hospital,
as well as my husband, family, and people around me.
I will not forget this grateful feeling as I raise him,
and I will do my best to raise him beautifully.
Welcome to the world, Kkongal.
