[Sportschosun, reporter Kim Soo-hyun] Cho Minah, formerly of the girl group Jewelry, has once again achieved remarkable results, proving her strength as an 'insurance queen.' Her warm friendship with Seo In-young is also drawing attention.
On the 16th, Cho Minah shared the news of her award with a post that read, "Double crown. Existing No. 1 in MVP rankings, 22nd DB Queen award."
Working as an insurance planner, she once again posted strong results and announced that she had achieved top-tier performance in the industry.
The good news also drew support from former Jewelry members. Lee Ji-hyun and Seo In-young both clicked 'like' on the post to congratulate her.
What drew the most attention from fans was Seo In-young's response, given the two had previously been surrounded by rumors of a falling-out. As the pair, once rumored to have strained relations, showed a close bond again, fans focused their attention on them.
Earlier, Cho Minah appeared on the YouTube channel 'Seo In-young's Gaegwacheonseon' and reunited with Jewelry members Park Jung-ah, Lee Ji-hyun, and Seo In-young. The four gathered as a full group for the first time in a while and drew major attention by performing a Jewelry full-group stage.
In particular, Seo In-young directly addressed the past rumors of conflict with Cho Minah and offered a heartfelt apology. The two had been caught up in breakup rumors after Cho Minah was the only one who could not attend Seo In-young's wedding in 2023.
Seo In-young, who had not invited Cho Minah to the wedding, said, "It was my fault. Minah has always reached out to me, but I was going through a difficult time," adding, "It was my shortcoming." Cho Minah accepted the apology, and the two cleared up their misunderstandings and restored their friendship.
Meanwhile, Cho Minah debuted with Jewelry in 2002 and became widely loved. She later married a non-celebrity man in 2020 and gave birth to a son, but after divorcing in 2022, she has been raising him on her own.
