Hong Yu-gyeong, Former Apink Member, at 18 Weeks Pregnant: "My Body Has Changed So Much"... "My Belly Is Popping Out Fast"

[Sportschosun Kim Soo-hyun] Hong Yu-gyeong, a former member of Apink, shared an update from her 18th week of pregnancy and offered a glimpse into the joyful daily life of an expectant mother.

Recently, Hong Yu-gyeong posted several photos along with the caption, "My belly suddenly started popping out after 16 weeks."

In the photos, Hong Yu-gyeong drew attention by showing a more pronounced baby bump, unlike her slim figure in the past. She also gently stroked her rounded belly and said, "Now I think I understand why everyone puts their hands on their stomachs..."

She also revealed a comfortable, cool-looking maternity outfit, saying, "My clothes are starting to not fit, so I bought pleated pieces for the first time, and they’re better than I expected?" Her natural routine of adjusting to a changing body during pregnancy resonated with many.

She then shared that she had gone out with her husband to look at baby items. Hong Yu-gyeong said, "We checked out strollers and had a chaotic weekend outing as expectant parents looking at baby supplies," adding, "I still don’t really know what’s what, but I’m going to study hard and go back again."

She added, "Our accidental pleated couple look was definitely over the top!" She also shared a heartwarming photo of herself and her husband holding hands while browsing baby items at a department store.

Earlier, on the 1st, Hong Yu-gyeong personally announced her pregnancy, saying, "A beautiful baby has come into my belly. I’ve now reached the stable 16-week mark, so I can finally share the news." The announcement drew many congratulations.

Meanwhile, Hong Yu-gyeong debuted with Apink in 2011 but left the group in 2013 to focus on her studies.

She later married a dermatologist in 2023. More recently, she attended Yoon Bo-mi’s wedding, showing their unchanged friendship and delighting fans.
