[Sportschosun Lee Ji-hyun] Actress Nam Bo-ra startled fans by appearing to run just two days after giving birth, but it turned out to be a video filmed before delivery, drawing laughs.
Nam Bo-ra shared an update on her life after childbirth through her social media on the 17th. The video released that day showed her running on an anti-gravity treadmill, and because it came just two days after she announced the birth of her son on the 15th, it worried fans. Actress Moon Ji-in, who saw the clip, was surprised and asked, "Why are you running?" Nam Bo-ra then cleared up the misunderstanding, explaining, "This was filmed before I gave birth."
Nam Bo-ra, who is currently recovering in the hospital, expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much for congratulating me on the birth of Kongal-i. I am recovering well in the hospital."
She added, "I have a lot of childcare experience, but this was my first time giving birth, so while preparing for a natural birth, I found myself paying attention to everything from food and daily habits to exercise." She continued, "One of the things I learned through that process was umbilical cord blood. Since it is a precious resource that can only be collected at the moment of birth, my husband and I thought about it for a long time and decided to store the umbilical cord blood and umbilical tissue."
Earlier, Nam Bo-ra personally announced that she had given birth to a son on the 15th. She said, "I prepared hard by exercising and managing my diet with the goal of a natural birth," but added, "At my final regular checkup before delivery, I was told there was almost no amniotic fluid. Natural delivery or induced labor was not possible, and I was told that any further delay could put the baby at risk, so I had to undergo an emergency C-section."
Meanwhile, Nam Bo-ra married a businessman of the same age in May last year and welcomed her first son about a year later.
