[Sportschosun Jo Min-jeong] Comedian Cho Sae-ho, who had temporarily scaled back his broadcast activities, will meet viewers again through Netflix's variety show "Screwballs."
On the 16th, Cho Sae-ho promoted the show by sharing a teaser video for Netflix's variety show "Screwballs" on his SNS. He also tagged the accounts of his fellow cast members, including Kim Sook, Hong Jin-kyung, Joo Woo-jae, and Jung Jae-hyung, building anticipation.
The released teaser featured lines such as, "Can you travel through time? No, you can't," and "We can't go back," along with scenes of the cast taking on a variety of missions. In this season, the members will move between several spaces built around the concept of different time periods and face various situations that explore the value of money and time.
Cho's appearance in particular drew attention.
Late last year, Cho Sae-ho came under fire after being swept up in allegations of ties to a gang. At the time, he explained that an acquaintance he had made while attending local events in the past had led to a misunderstanding, saying, "The allegations are not true." He later stepped down from some of the programs he had been appearing on, giving the impression that he was winding down his activities.
However, he has continued to appear on Netflix's variety show "Screwballs" without interruption. With the teaser now released, interest is also growing over whether Cho Sae-ho is preparing to return to full-scale activities.
Online users reacted with comments such as, "It's been a while since we've seen Cho Sae-ho," "So he's still on Screwballs," "The cast combination looks promising," and "It's nice to see him again on Netflix."
