Seo In-young bitter after being cursed at by KAIST students: "Maybe they thought I was an entertainer who just showed up and was annoying"

[Sportschosun, Reporter Jo Yoon-sun] Seo In-young recalled an episode from when she was filming at KAIST and was cursed at by students.

On the 17th, a video titled "Seo In-young's Gaegwacheonseon: Seo In-young, a high school graduate, enrolls in KAIST, where only geniuses go (+ Daebul University, Im Du-hyeok update)" was released on the YouTube channel "Seo In-young's Gaegwacheonseon."

In the video, Seo In-young returned to KAIST after 18 years. She appeared on Mnet's 2008 program "Seo In-young’s KAIST" and recalled, "It was a reality shoot back then, too. They told me I could just go to school, so I went, but they really made me study, and I cried a lot."

She added, "I had to come to school at least three times a week. If I didn't, the professors said they would kick me out, and I kept going because it would have been embarrassing to be expelled."

Seo In-young also opened up about the hurt she felt at the time. She said, "When I first came to KAIST, I heard people cursing at me in the bathroom. I was using the stall next to someone, and I heard them in the next stall saying things like, 'Why did she come here?' and cursing at me."

She continued, "They were all hardworking students, and I suddenly showed up as an entertainer, couldn't even keep to the study schedule, and acted that way, so I guess I was just annoying."
