[Sportschosun Lee Woo-joo] Actress Kim Young-ok opened up about how much she misses her husband.
On the 17th, a video titled "Emergency Arrest of the Rice Thief: Kim Young-ok Grandma's Soy Sauce Marinated Crab Recipe Revealed" was uploaded to Kim Young-ok's YouTube channel.
At Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market, Kim Young-ok revealed her shopping list, saying, "Since crab season is almost over, I'll quickly look for some that are good for making soy sauce marinade. If there is hairtail or clam, I'll also try making clam soup."
As she looked at various seafood items inside the market, Kim Young-ok kept expressing admiration. The moment she saw blue crabs, she calmly bought them on the spot at the first shop. After purchasing as much as 5 kg of blue crabs, she said, "That's not a lot. I'll boil half and make soy sauce marinated crab with the other half."
The production team was surprised to see Kim Young-ok buying so many seafood items, saying, "What are we supposed to do if you keep buying things at every stop?" In response, Kim Young-ok said, "I have the kids too. But that one is for me. If you mix raw egg into soy sauce and put sea urchin roe on top of rice, it tastes unbelievably good."
Afterward, when Kim Young-ok saw hairtail, she said, "Hairtail makes me feel sad. There aren't many hairtail lovers left now," bringing her husband to mind and touching everyone. At that moment, the owner of another shop came to find her with a gift. The owner expressed admiration, saying, "If I don't accept it, I'll feel too sorry. I'm actually your mom's fan. I really, really like your mom." Kim Young-ok greeted her by saying, "My daughter is 66 years old too," and the owner replied, "I'm 71 as well." Kim Young-ok then made everyone laugh by saying, "Then I must have had her when I was 19."
Meanwhile, Kim Young-ok's husband, Kim Young-gil, a former KBS announcer, died on the 17th of last month. Kim Young-ok is now focusing on caring for her grandson, who became half-paralyzed in a traffic accident, instead of her daughter, whose health worsened from caregiving.
