[Sportschosun Kim Jun-seok reporter] Nichkhun of 2PM spoke candidly about the 'fuller look' that once drew attention.
A video titled "Must-Watch Before Your Trip to Thailand: Nichkhun's Recommended Thai Market Picks" was recently uploaded to 2PM's official YouTube channel.
In the video, Nichkhun visited his hometown of Thailand for an event and introduced his own picks at a local market, including snacks, ramen, durian, and household goods.
He later visited a cafe with a beautiful garden and ordered a variety of food and drinks for the staff, showing his warm side.
Nichkhun himself, however, stayed on an empty stomach and drank only an Americano to manage his condition before the event.
When a staff member asked, "What will you do if you can't eat?" he replied, "It's okay. After the event, I can go home and eat a lot," showing a relaxed attitude.
Nichkhun also shared that he had recently succeeded in losing weight.
He drew attention by saying, "I lost all the weight for my activities." He then recalled the dieting process, adding, "It was hard."
During the conversation, the production team expressed regret as they mentioned the time when Nichkhun had filmed content while looking heavier.
At the time, Nichkhun had attracted online attention for appearing noticeably fuller than before.
Nichkhun honestly admitted, "We filmed in a relaxed atmosphere back then, and I didn't even manage my expressions, so I think I came across as even less attractive."
He added with a cool response, "But wasn't the content fun? Then that's enough. I can just lose the weight."
He also showed affection for his fans, saying, "Thankfully, fans told me, 'People should live happily,'" and added, "I was so grateful for those words."
Meanwhile, Nichkhun has recently been actively communicating with fans while showing a sharper look after successfully losing weight.
