Park Mi-sun Fears Cancer Recurrence... Reveals Strict Diet: "I Don't Even Touch Charcoal-Grilled Meat or Ham"

[Sportschosun, Kim Soo-hyun] Comedian Park Mi-sun has personally shared an update on her life and current health condition after battling breast cancer.

On the 18th, Park Mi-sun appeared on the YouTube channel "I Am Park Mi-sun" and spoke candidly about her treatment process, daily life, and life after returning to work.

That day, Park said, "Many people have been asking how I've been lately, and there have been a lot of articles about me too." She added, "I'm continuing treatment in good health. I'm still on medication, and I have a checkup next month. I go in regularly every six months."

She also shared news of her return to broadcasting. Park explained, "I started doing home shopping and TV work again. I thought about resting a little longer, but then I got an offer for a program with my husband, so I began broadcasting with MBN's 'Someone's Precious Family.'"

Speaking about her daily routine, she said, "I have fun, play golf, and buy delicious food to eat." She added, "But I almost never touch charcoal-grilled meat, processed ham, or sausages with lots of additives."

She also said she continues to exercise regularly. "I work out at home too. Exercise is really important. I try to move my body as much as possible," she noted.

In particular, Park spoke frankly about weight changes caused by taking anti-hormone medication. She explained, "You gain weight when you take anti-hormone medication. Because female hormones decrease, it's something I have to take. As breast cancer patients know, that medicine makes you gain weight."

She said she has recently been spending her days walking in the park. Park said, "My chemotherapy is over, and my health has improved a lot, so I'm walking carefully." She added, "I even try not to step on ants. Not a single one should die," drawing attention with her remark.

She went on to say, "The scenery is so beautiful. Being alive is truly a happy thing," expressing gratitude for life.

Meanwhile, Park was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and underwent chemotherapy. She later appeared on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' and said, "This is not a disease you can describe as fully cured," adding, "I live with the mindset that if it comes back, I can just treat it again." She has recently resumed her TV and YouTube activities and is receiving strong support.
