[Sportschosun Reporter Jo Min-jeong] Sang-cheol from Season 32 of "I'm Solo" sparked a tense exchange after openly revealing his feelings about Gwang-soo.
In the episode of the ENA and SBS Plus dating show "I'm Solo" that aired on the 17th, Ok-soon from Season 32 was shown heading out on a so-called "4-on-1 date" after being chosen by Young-soo, Gwang-soo, Sang-cheol, and Kyung-soo.
During the date, Kyung-soo asked Sang-cheol, who had stopped drinking, "Didn't you say you drink on days when you're in a good mood?" Sang-cheol replied, "I only drink on really special days or when something very good happens," and Kyung-soo joked, "Then you should have a drink today."
After hearing that, Ok-soon laughed and said, "How could I be in a good mood on a 4-on-1 date?" Gwang-soo then lightened the mood by saying, "Still, it's fine as long as I'm with Ok-soon," drawing laughter from everyone present.
Sang-cheol, however, saw things differently. With a serious expression, he said, "The reason I quit drinking is not something trivial," and then shared his honest thoughts about Gwang-soo. "There was something a little funny earlier," he said. "Gwang-soo said, 'Nice to meet you,' and I wondered whether that was really a situation where he should be saying that." He added, "In the end, aren't we competitors?" Sang-cheol had also shown a meaningful smile earlier when he heard Gwang-soo's toast.
As the unexpected remark came out, the atmosphere briefly turned awkward. Gwang-soo, looking flustered, gave a short reply: "Oh, yes. I understand," and wrapped up the conversation. With the competition among the male cast members for Ok-soon now heating up, the subtle tension between Sang-cheol and Gwang-soo is also drawing viewers' attention.
Meanwhile, "I'm Solo" airs every Wednesday at 10:30 p.m.
