[Sportschosun Lee Ji-hyun] Secret's Jun Hyo-seong drew attention after revealing a dressing room with no luxury items, despite her long career in the entertainment industry.
On the 18th, the YouTube channel 'Class A Jang Young-ran' released a video titled, 'Jun Hyo-seong, who once dominated music show No. 1 spots, reveals her home where she lives alone for the first time after going off the radar.'
While showing her home that day, Jun Hyo-seong opened up about luxury handbags as she revealed her dressing room. As Jang Young-ran looked through the closet, she asked, "I thought you would have a lot of luxury items, Hyo-seong." Jun Hyo-seong gave an unexpected answer. She said, "I really don't have many luxury bags. I only have about two."
Jang Young-ran expressed her surprise, saying, "People think that because you were active with Secret for so long and had many hits like 'Madonna' and 'Shy Boy,' you would own a lot of luxury items, but that's not the case."
Jun Hyo-seong also talked about the atmosphere during her idol days. She recalled, "When we were active, things were different from now. Back then, there weren't many idols working as ambassadors for luxury brands like there are today." She added, "At the time, carrying a luxury bag could actually make you seem more mature and old-fashioned."
She said she was never very interested in luxury goods. Pointing to the Chanel bag shown on the program, she said, "I bought this secondhand," surprising Jang Young-ran.
Jun Hyo-seong also revealed how she ended up buying the bag. She explained, "It originally had a color, but since it was dyed, it was much cheaper than a regular product." She added, "So I bought it secondhand." On the price, she said, "I bought it for about 1.5 million won."
When Jang Young-ran reacted by saying, "It must be much more expensive now. You made money," Jun Hyo-seong smiled and nodded.
Meanwhile, Secret, which debuted in 2009, will release its special mini album 'Secret Flavor' at 6 p.m. on the 18th. It is the group's first new release in about 12 years since the EP 'Secret Summer,' which came out in 2014.
