[Sportschosun, Lee Ji-hyun] Actress Jeon Won-ju, 87, shared an update on her life after breaking up with her younger boyfriend.
In a video released on the YouTube channel "Soonpoong Sunwoo Yongyeo" on the 18th, a clip titled "82-year-old close friends Sunwoo Yong-yeo and Jeon Won-ju finally go to build a house on a 600-pyeong lot in Yangsuri where they will spend their later years together" showed the two visiting land in Yangpyeong County.
That day, Jeon spoke candidly about her recent love life. The pair stopped by a cafe with a scenic view on the way to Yangpyeong County. Sunwoo Yong-yeo said, "If you're dating a man, bring him here."
When the production team said, "We thought you had a boyfriend," Sunwoo Yong-yeo replied on Jeon's behalf, "They broke up." Jeon then confirmed the split, saying, "I'm more comfortable being alone now."
Jeon went on to say, "I do need a man," and when asked when she needs one, she answered, "When I sleep," drawing laughter on set. When Sunwoo Yong-yeo pressed further, asking, "Why do you need one when you sleep?" Jeon replied, "Because he presses me down nicely. You've had children, so why don't you know?" Their playful chemistry as close friends drew more laughs.
Jeon continued her trademark candid remarks after seeing a handsome man. Sunwoo Yong-yeo revealed, "Whenever my sister sees a handsome man, she starts talking about all sorts of things that never even happened." Jeon then made the crew laugh by telling the cameraman, "You look cute" and "You're handsome," showing her affection.
Meanwhile, Jeon said last year that she had a boyfriend. She said, "My boyfriend is in his 80s and is five or six years younger than me. He is healthy. Dating a younger man definitely gives me energy," adding, "I even go hiking just to hold hands. Once I hold his hand, I don't let go. He tries to pull his hand back, but I hold on tight and keep going all the way to the top. We also go to karaoke and nightclubs."
