[Sportschosun Reporter Jo Min-jeong] Blackpink's Jennie drew attention after sharing a glimpse of her recent life, showing that she has become deeply immersed in golf.
Jang Jae-geun, a former athlete who now works as a golf lesson pro, posted a video of Jennie's golf practice on his social media on the 18th, along with the caption, "Jennie, I think you can graduate from being a golf beginner now."
The released video captured Jennie's progress as she learns golf. Dressed in comfortable sportswear, she received guidance from Pro Jang Jae-geun at an indoor practice range and focused on correcting her swing form and practicing.
At first, she seemed to struggle with awkward movements and timing, but as she continued repeating the drills, she gradually developed a more stable stance. Pro Jang also helped with her lesson by explaining weight transfer and swing path in person.
In particular, Jennie, who had been concentrating on practice with a serious expression at the indoor range, later stepped onto the field in a white top and mini skirt and showed a much more natural swing.
In the following scene, she delivered such a clean swing that Pro Jang exclaimed, "Good shot," drawing even more attention. Although she appears to have only recently started golf, her flexible movements and athletic instincts stood out.
Fans were just as enthusiastic. Comments poured in, including "She looks better than a golfwear model," "I thought it was an AI video," "It would be unfair if Jennie is good at golf too," "She looks cool even while working out," and "I think she really will graduate from golf beginner."
Meanwhile, Jennie recently took the stage as a headliner at The Governors Ball, a major music festival held in New York, thrilling fans around the world.
