[Sportschosun Jo Min-jung] Actor Go Gyu-pil and singer-songwriter Aimin have welcomed the joy of becoming parents.
According to Go Gyu-pil's agency on the 19th, his wife Aimin is currently four months pregnant and is expected to give birth to their first daughter later this year.
A representative from SPRING ENT, Go Gyu-pil's agency, said, "It is true that Aimin is pregnant," and added, "She is currently four months along, and the baby is a girl."
As news of the couple's second-generation baby spread, Aimin's social media has also drawn attention for sharing glimpses of her happy life as an expectant mother.
On the 18th, Aimin posted several photos on her personal account along with the captions "15WEEKS. My belly is showing quite a bit... haha" and "Chubby." In the photos, she is seen visiting the MOM & BABY EXPO held at Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Ilsan. Dressed comfortably for an outing, she placed a hand on her belly and smiled brightly, sharing an update full of excitement.
In another photo, she revealed a more pronounced baby bump in a shot taken inside a car. Now 15 weeks pregnant, Aimin wrote, "My belly is showing quite a bit," expressing the happiness of an expectant mother.
Meanwhile, Go Gyu-pil and Aimin tied the knot in November 2023 after nine years of dating. Actor Kim Nam-gil served as the host at the ceremony, while Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun Ah performed the congratulatory song, drawing attention.
Go Gyu-pil won wide popularity for his role as Chorongi in The Roundup: No Way Out, and he has also appeared in a range of works including The Fiery Priest and Crash Landing on You. Aimin debuted in 2018 with the single "Hide and Seek" and has continued her music career steadily.
