[Sportschosun] Singer Yang Hee-eun drew support from fans after sharing that she had safely completed radiation therapy.
On the 19th, Yang Hee-eun posted several photos on her social media along with a message that read, "Thank you to the two doctors who helped me with radiation therapy every day for a month. Thanks to you, I endured it bravely."
The released photos showed the inside of the Proton Therapy Center at the National Cancer Center (NCC). A message on the wall read, "Congratulations on completing your treatment today. You have worked so hard all this time," drawing attention. Another photo showed Yang Hee-eun standing side by side with the medical staff who supported her treatment for a commemorative picture. Smiling brightly and waving as she shared the joy of finishing treatment, she warmed hearts.
Yang Hee-eun expressed her gratitude to the medical staff who cared for her and said she had safely completed the month-long treatment.
Earlier, Yang Hee-eun had worried fans after missing a broadcast because of health issues. She did not appear on MBC Standard FM's "Women’s Era with Yang Hee-eun and Kim Il-jung" on the 9th, and Kim Il-jung explained at the time, "Teacher Yang Hee-eun is undergoing surgery to restore her vision related to the cornea."
Fans have been sending messages of support such as, "You really went through a lot," "I'm glad the treatment ended well," "Please stay healthy and keep broadcasting for a long time," and "It's nice to see you smiling with the medical staff."
Meanwhile, Yang Hee-eun continues to meet listeners as the host of MBC radio's "Women’s Era with Yang Hee-eun and Kim Il-jung."
