Lee Soo-jin, the wife of former football player Lee Dong-gook, shared news that an explosion had occurred at a place her husband had visited just days earlier. The before-and-after photos left fans relieved after a scare.
On the 19th, Lee Soo-jin posted a photo with the caption, "A photo sent from in front of the Charging Bull four days ago. Superman dad made it back safely. New York is scary."
The photo shows Lee Dong-gook taking a selfie in front of the Charging Bull, the symbol of Wall Street in New York. The next image, however, showed flames along with the caption, "Explosion reported in front of the Wall Street Charging Bull in New York."
Shocked fans commented, "Why would you post something like this? That scared me," and "What is this? I was startled too." Lee Soo-jin replied, "I saw the photo in front of the bull statue four days ago, and I was so surprised after seeing the news."
Earlier that day, Lee Soo-jin had also posted a video from her daughter Jae-si's graduation ceremony, writing, "Graduation at Songdo Campus. Now off to New York! I can't believe how hard-working she is. Our number one is so admirable."
Lee Dong-gook and former Miss Korea Lee Soo-jin married in 2005 and have four daughters and one son. The family has been loved by viewers through KBS2's variety show "Superman Returns."
