[Sportschosun Kim So-hee] Comedian Kim Shin-young shared a funny drunken episode in which she argued with a standee of Seolhyun and then called the real Seolhyun the next day to apologize.
On the 19th, Kim Young-chul's YouTube channel, "Kim Young-chul Original," released an unreleased video titled "Kim Young-chul Storms Choi Hwa-jung's Dressing Room, Only to Get Scolded and Leave (Real Sibling Chemistry)."
In the video, Kim Shin-young said she is currently abstaining from alcohol and spoke candidly about her severe drinking habits in the past. She confessed, "My drinking problem was so bad that I quit drinking. I was the worst kind of person," adding, "I used to drink so much that I would scratch at the door until it opened. I had no fingernails left, but I remember none of it. My friends said I was terrifying."
Kim Shin-young then brought up one of her most memorable drunken episodes, when she fought with a standee of Seolhyun, formerly of the girl group AOA.
She recalled, "I stood in front of the standee in Konkuk University and said, 'Your older sister came, and you're not even greeting me?'" She laughed as she added, "I was such a total boomer." In her drunken state, she had mistaken the standee for Seolhyun herself.
The bigger problem came the next day. Kim Shin-young said, "When I woke up in the morning, scenes started coming back to me little by little, like frames on a camera reel. I thought, 'Oh my God, I'm crazy. Seolhyun, I'm sorry,' so I called her right away."
But an unexpected twist was waiting. Kim Shin-young said, "Seolhyun asked, 'What are you talking about?' So I asked, 'Did your older sister drink a lot and call you?' and Seolhyun said, 'We're in the middle of AOA's Hong Kong tour right now.'" Her story sent the set into laughter. Hearing this, Kim Young-chul also burst out laughing and said, "From Seolhyun's perspective, that must have been hilarious."
Kim Shin-young also shared another alcohol-related story. She said, "Senior Song Eun-i told me, 'You have to learn how to drink from adults. I think you learned it the wrong way,'" and added, "So I replied, 'I learned it from my grandmother.'" Her comment drew more laughter.
